Join a course
Your situation You've received an invite from a manager and this is your first time using Course Kit.
Steps
- Copy the invite link your manager shared, or open the app and choose Join Course.
- Enter the invite code, and the system shows the course name and manager's info for you to confirm.
- Once the details look right, tap Join, and the course appears in your Collaborate list.
Tip You need an account before joining, sign up with Google or Email takes less than a minute.
Log attendance
Your situation A session just ended and you want to mark it complete and deduct a session.
Steps
- Open the course details page and tap the Deduct Sessions button in the bottom right.
- Choose a status: Attended, manager no-show, or leave.
- Confirm the session date and session count, add an optional note, then tap Confirm Usage.
- After you submit, the entry appears in the usage records list, and it's done once your manager confirms it.
Tip Any change to session count needs confirmation from the other side. If either side doesn't respond within 24 hours, the system automatically treats it as confirmed.
Check remaining sessions
Your situation Your course is nearly finished and you want to check remaining sessions before deciding whether to renew.
Steps
- Go to Collaborate, and the course list shows each course's remaining sessions directly.
- Open a course, and the top of the page shows how many sessions are left out of the total, matching what your manager sees.
Tip Remaining sessions are deducted automatically as soon as either side marks a session attended, no need to reconcile separately.
View media shared by your manager
Your situation Your manager uploaded a demo video or photo and you want to review it after the session.
Steps
- Open the course details page and tap Media.
- Photos and videos are grouped by date, tap a video to play it or a photo to view it full size.
- For anything you want to keep, tap download to save it to your phone.
Tip Media stays available for 30 days after a course ends, both sides can still view and download it during that window. Download anything you want to keep as early as possible.
Reply about renewal
Your situation Your course is nearly finished and your manager wants to know if you'll continue for another round.
Steps
- When sessions run low, you'll get a renewal reminder, and a message asking whether to continue appears at the top of the course details page.
- Tap I'll renew to let your manager know you want to continue, and they'll add sessions for you, or tap Stop after this to end things here.
- If you change your mind after replying, tap Reconsider to flip your answer once, each round allows only one change.
Your reply only expresses your intent to continue, it doesn't change the course or session count on its own, your manager still has to add sessions to make it official.
Request to end a course
Your situation You can't continue the course for some reason and want to formally mark it as ended.
Steps
- Open the course details page, tap the menu in the top right, and choose Request end course.
- After you confirm, the system sends an end-course request notification to your manager.
- Once your manager confirms, the course status changes to ended, visible to both sides.
Either side can request to end a course, but it only takes effect once the other side confirms. If they don't respond within 3 days, the system automatically treats it as confirmed.
Export records after the course ends
Your situation Your course has ended and you want to export all the session records to keep.
Steps
- Open the course page and tap Export.
- The system generates an Excel file.
- Once it's ready, save it to your device or email it to yourself.
Attendance records and notes are only kept for 30 days. After that, only the course summary remains, so it's best to export soon after a course ends.
