Scenario 1

Sign Up and Sign In

Where you're at You want to use Collaborate to share session counts with a coach or student. Collaborate requires signing in first.

Steps

  1. Switch to the Collaborate tab at the bottom, and tap the blue Sign In / Sign Up button.
  2. Choose how to sign up: one-tap with Google, or set your own Email and password.
  3. If you choose Email, fill in your email and password, check the box agreeing to the privacy policy, and tap Sign Up.
  4. After signing up, you'll see a green success banner. Check your email and tap the verification link to finish verifying your account.

Tip Already have an account? Just choose Sign In. On the Email sign-in page, there's also a "Don't have an account? Sign up" link at the bottom to switch. If you forget your password, tap "Forgot password?" on the Email sign-in page to reset it.

Scenario 2

Manage Your Account and Sign Out

Where you're at You want to check which account you're signed in with, resend a verification email, edit your profile, or sign out to switch accounts.

Steps

  1. On the Collaborate tab, tap the profile icon in the top right to open the account menu.
  2. The top of the menu shows your current email and verification status. If it's not verified yet, tap Resend Verification Email to get another one.
  3. To edit your profile, tap Go to VCH Member Center to make changes on the web. To switch accounts, tap Sign Out.

One account holds both the Manager and Member roles at once. You don't need separate accounts for teaching and taking courses.

Scenario 3

Check Usage Guidelines

Where you're at Before you start collaborating, you want to understand how sessions are deducted, how records are confirmed, and the limits on uploading and downloading media.

Steps

  1. On the Collaborate page, tap the question mark icon in the top right, this opens Service Rules where you can review how record confirmation and session deduction work.
  2. Go to a course's media section, tap the info icon in the top right, and you'll see the Media Guide, which lists upload and download limits and the retention period.

Media files are kept for 365 days, and deleted 30 days after a course ends. Download and save any important photos or videos ahead of time.
